Bring your Supervisory Talents to this Growing Food Company

Our client needs to replace a Production Supervisor who moved on.  This is a growing, well run food company.  Food industry experience is not required, it is of course preferred, but you must have at least 1 year of strong supervision experience.  After 2-3 months of first shift training this job will move to the off-shift which runs from 6 PM to 6 AM.  It is structured so that you work 2 days, have 2 days off, work 3 days and have 2 days off.  Please note that in general it takes at least 3 years to move off nights.

Requirements:

1.  Bachelors degree required with a preference for an engineering degree and an interest in manufacturing engineering

2.  If you are local at least one year of prior production supervision experience in a manufacturing environment.  If you are not local, at least one year of production supervision experience in the food or pharmaceutical industries.

3.  Although food or beverage industry experience would be great they can teach the equipment.  What they cannot teach is strong leadership abilities.  They are in the middle of a culture shift, lead by their dynamic new plant manager, and he needs another person to help implement these changes.

Duties:

1.  Lead a team of production workers in this food processing operation

2.  Implement the management directives given to reinvigorate their corporate culture
