Position Description:

This dynamic and fast paced technology organization is seeking a Senior Quality Analystto work on a mobile & web based products.

As a member of the Software Quality Team in a rapid development environment you will be responsible for ensuring products are deployed to product highest quality. The candidate must have a solid understanding of mobile and web based product programming languages as well agile software development practices.

A potential candidate body of knowledge should include, but are not limited to, development and product quality operation, application workflow and analysis of testing and inspection procedures, the ability to evaluate server logs, databases, and utilize various open source debugging tools. Candidate must be able to diagnose and provide proposed technical resolutions for system defects/issues and the ability to work independently to develop product quality strategies and techniques. It is also important for the potential candidate to clearly communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Qualifications:

·         5 years demonstrated success in using tools such as HP Mercury Quick Test Pro, Selenium, or other open source test tools.

·         Demonstrated advanced understanding of relational databases, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, application design, solution development, and implementation of small projects or minor components or medium-to-large projects

·         5 years experience or more in an agile or rapid development environment

·         Experience with RIA technologies: Flash, Adobe Flex & Air

·         Advance understanding of data workflows, application user experience, error handling, video, content management systems, ecommerce, compatibility, and network connectivity

·         Exposure to platforms such as UNIX, Windows, or other operating systems

·         Strong understanding of mySQL database and constructing/executing SQL queries

·         Experience with UNIX (Sun Solaris/HP) server navigation;

·         Experience running batch commands and reviewing output, logs, etc. on the UNIX platform.
