Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, works on Remanufactured and New compressors within the production environment. Provides inspections, teardown and assembly service for major components of HVAC Compressors.
- Change and Service Filters
- Oil and Grease Bearings
- Perform general housekeeping task as required
- Teardown and analyze failed compressors
- Executes necessary requalification processes for disassembled compressors and major components
- Operates mechanical equipment as necessary
- Cleans and performs routine maintenance on major equipment within production facility
- Assist with all production and shipping requirements of Remanufactured and New compressor build
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- General Knowledge of HVAC theory, systems, equipment and maintenance preferred
- Completion of a HVAC Certificate/Diploma program, Associate Degree program or equivalent maintenance work experience a plus, but not required
- Basic refrigeration knowledge a plus, but not required
- Good verbal/written communication skills
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to pass background and drug screening
- Basic computer knowledge
- Climb a 12 foot ladder
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs, unassisted
- Utilize and operate both standard and power tools
