Compassionate Hands Hospice brings together professionals and specially trained volunteers who offer expertise, experience and interventions to patients with life-limiting conditions, ensuring they are treated with respect and dignity during a uniquely personal time of transition.
We seek an outgoing, proactive individual with polished communication skills to fill a field-based Professional Hospice Consultant position. The chosen candidate will promote our hospice program in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area. This rewarding role offers plenty of autonomy, a challenge and a secure future with an industry leader.
Our new Representative will spend the majority of time in the field, focusing on the following responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining relationships with referral sources such as physicians, nursing homes, assisted living facilities and hospitals
- Conduct in-services and promote Compassionate Hands Hospice services to physicians, civic groups, churches, nursing homes, and other appropriate groups
- Meeting with patients or their family members within care facilities
- Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
- Utilize required technology daily (email, Outlook, CRM)
- Attending weekly sales meeting
- Maintain high call average per week and have strong follow up skills
The chosen candidate will possess:
- Marketing/sales experience gained within the healthcare industry or a hospice service setting
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
- Strong organizational skills
- High level of community visibility
- Ownership of defined territory
- A valid driver's license and auto liability insurance
Highly valued assets include:
- Experience in outside sales
- Experience selling to physicians, nursing homes, assisted living facilities and/or hospitals
- Bachelor's degree
