QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A veterinary degree (DVM or VMD) with minimum of two years veterinary practice or production system experience is required

  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word) is mandatory in order to meet the daily demands of this position

  • Proven successful public speaking and presentation skills

    Solid interpersonal and group communication skills

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide sales support to BIVI Sales Reps by providing technical support to food animal veterinarians, producers, dealers and distributor reps.  Technical support may involve BIVI products, disease challenges, management, and production issues

  • Develop and implement internal and external training and educational initiatives and serve as technical experts for internal and external customers. Provide this technical education via ride-alongs with BIVI Sales Reps and through facilitation of technical presentations in various formal and informal forums to support BIVI goals and objectives.  These forums include, but are not limited to, lunch and dinner meetings, distributor training meetings, local, regional, and national veterinary meetings, industry trade shows and meetings, and BIVI sales meetings. Update CRM system with pertinent data

  • Implement technical marketing programs as directed by product and technical managers

  • Foster relationships with key opinion leaders (University personnel, consultants, key veterinary practitioners, industry leaders) within their respective region and keep KOLs up-to-date on BIVI products, new label claims, and new trial data

  • Investigate and report on product complaints and disease breaks through problem resolution strategies, including farm visits and diagnostic investigations

  • Design, conduct, monitor, analyze and report on product support field trials. Prepare and submit abstracts of field trials for oral or poster presentation at veterinary CE meetings.or other industry meetings

  • Performs all Company business in accordance with all regulations (e.g., EEO, FDA, etc.) and Company policy and procedures.  When violations are noted/observed they are to be immediately reported to management.  Demonstrates high ethical and professional standards with all business contacts in order to maintain BIVI's excellent reputation within the animal health community and internally
