Essential Job Functions:
· Completes supervisee’s performance evaluations, training plans and supervision records
· Maintains a climate which attracts, keeps, and motivates a staff of top-quality people
· Interview/hire/train new site personnel and ensure that supervisory staff are equipped to participate in the interview and selection process.
· Provide oversight of performance targets within specified timeframes.
· In correlation with executive team develop annual performance indicator measurements for Quality Improvement.
· In correlation with executive team, develop and manage annual budgets with focus on revenue models, staffing patterns, and expenses.
· Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards maintaining licensure, certification, and accreditation.
· Coordinate inter-agency resources. Ensure program services and operations align with primary functions of the agency.
· Ensure staff and departments’ adhere to PFH policies and procedures. Provide suggestions for updated or revised policies and procedures.
· Ensure QI meetings are conducted and correlating reports are submitted in a timely manner.
· Respond to strengths or weaknesses identified through self assessment and external mechanisms that impact the quality of the department’s performance and develop/monitor actions to strengthen quality of department.
· Provide training, instruction, and ensure continuing education goals are met for all direct reports.
· Assist the grant writing department in responding to new business with necessary information.
· Provide assistance to the insurance specialists and insurance billers for issues related to claims submissions.
· Communicate the strategic direction of the organization and encourage participation by all employees.
· Coordinate the workflow of department(s) to ensure deadlines are adhered to.
· Facilitates an atmosphere of open communication with the staff through regularly scheduled staff meetings and frequent interaction with key personnel, maintain open communication throughout the organization.
· Ensures that Vice President is kept consistently informed of the program, its operations and all important factors affecting performance.
· Ensure that department(s) is compliant and staff are educated in regards to Risk Management expectations.
· Respond to community and/or client feedback/suggestions informing appropriate departments and Vice President.
· Weekly monitoring of services provided to clients to ensure adequate and appropriate delivery of services taking appropriate action and communicating to Vice President.
· Ensure professional representation by PFH staff within the community.
· Assist in development of and implementation of enrollment strategy/marketing plan for community recognition, networking, referral base increase, etc. communicating results to Vice President.
· Provide ongoing oversight maximizing revenue from all funding sources. Applicable to Clinical + Financial PDs
· Facilitate program operations within budget in regards to line items that are able to be managed from the site level.
· Conduct random file reviews within said timeframes and report results in Quarterly QI Report.
· Oversee File Management process ensuring timely completion of filing, transfers of files from one site to another, closing of files, and transport of client records to Kirksville.
· Other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Treatment Services or Executive Team Members.
· A graduate of an accredited college or university with a Master’s Degree in business, psychology, human related service or closely related field; AND who has at previous experience in a supervisory and/or management role; OR
· A qualified mental health professional meeting one (1) of the following criteria:
o Professional counselor licensed under Missouri state law to practice counseling and with specialized training in mental health services.
o Clinical social worker with a Master’s degree in social work from an accredited program.
o Psychiatric nurse, registered professional nurse, licensed under Chapter 3355 RSMo, with at least two (2) years experience in a psychiatric setting or a Master’s degree in psychiatric nursing.
o An individual possessing a Master’s or Doctorate degree in counseling and guidance, rehabilitation counseling, vocational counseling, psychology, pastoral counseling, family therapy, or a related field who has successfully completed a practicum or has one (1) of experience under supervision of a mental health professional.
