Director of Program Management will oversee and drive the development of an enterprise Medicare Stars program strategy, with appropriate regional variations, as required. Specifically, the Director will drive, oversee and be responsible for the following:

Primary Duties but not limited to:

  • Works closely with Stars program management, P&L leads, and Medicare leadership to set Stars strategy; thinks strategically and understands how to translate business strategy into initiatives.
  • Monitors the market and works with our competitive intelligence and P&L team to identify best practices and competitor capabilities; supports translation of findings into tactical initiatives or program improvement efforts.
  • Supports the annual budgeting and planning process; is responsible for collating information from various business partners and consolidating for an integrated program view, as well as driving the development of individual business cases to inform a program ROI
  • Oversees program implementation of enterprise and regional Stars strategy - manages execution of Stars related initiatives, including leading work plan meetings and conducting regular deep dives with functional teams to ensure initiatives are directly aligned with Star measure improvement.
  • Owns the development of content for leadership review; structures decks, prepares speakers, anticipates key issues and questions and data needed to drive productive discussion
  • Maintains strategic focus while driving execution, i.e. steer team from project diversions that create churn and offer minimal return, and proactively identifies major project risks
  • Understands data, and articulates data needs required to assist with solving business problem; evaluates analytical outputs in order to test relevance and applicability, and identify key insights
  • Leads the identification of program updates required as a result of regulatory changes; responsible for documenting, training, and communicating key messages to the team.
  • Ensures that all changes are carried through by individual work teams and supports the development of presentations for meetings (as requested) with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS)MS)

This role will allow you to work remote anywhere within the United States

You will have to be able to support teams that sit in Eastern and Central Standard time

This role may require up to 15% travel based on the needs of the department

BA/BS degree;
10 + years of experience in external client facing program management, project management; complex business processes, strategic and business planning;

3 years of experience with Medicare.
High Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word
Approx. 10-15% domestic travel is required with some overnight stay.

Strong communication skiss

Project management certification (PMP)
Medicare Stars experience
knowledge of HEDIS quality measurements
