Job Description
Responsible for the direction of large projects with major sub-projects or a program of interrelated projects, ensuring integration, coordination, timing and consistency of process throughout.

The Program Manager ensures that activities are carried out in accordance with established specifications, schedules, and budgets; coordinates interdepartmental functions in order to minimize delays; meets with program team members on a regular basis to review program status and plan future actions.

Programs may involve individuals or groups from any or all of the following disciplines: Usability Specialists, Industrial Designers, Mechanical, Electrical, Firmware, Software, Design Verification and Reliability Engineers, along with Marketing, Planning, Manufacturing and Operations working together to bring a product from concept into mass production and delivery.

* Run complex projects/programs from conception through design and development to production.
* Define program requirements and plan project lifecycle deployment.
* Establish consistent project management policies and guidelines for the overall program
* Identify/acquire necessary resources from the appropriate organizational groups
* Plan and schedule project deliverables, goals, milestones.
* Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.
* Direct and oversee program team and manage conflicts within group
* Efficiently identify problems early and drive quickly to a resolution
* Demonstrate leadership to define requirements for project risk
* Ensure production and maintenance of project documentation
* Drive decisions based on business program needs
* Facilitate regular reporting and reviews
Job Requirements
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering (EE, ME, Computer Science) or related field.
* A minimum of 5 years of hardware and/or software Program Management
* A minimum of 5 years of end-to-end (planning to shipping) Product Development and Project Management
* Excellent communications skills
* Demonstrated strong team leadership skills
* The ability to provide strong technical and process leadership
* Demonstrated quality mindset and strong customer focus
* Scheduling and budgeting experience
* Experience developing business (cost/ tradeoff) analyses
* The ability and willingness to step in and work as an individual contributor when needed
* Able to thrive in a dynamic environment

The following items are a plus:
* PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or equivalent
* Strong MS Project skills 
* Strong design and implementation skills
* Experience defining and developing retail products
* Experience with injection molded plastics/ printed circuit assemblies/ high-volume world-class design and manufacturing techniques for consumer electronic products
