DESCRIPTION:

Directs all phases of contract and programs management from inception through completion including cost, schedule, and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs.

Conduct research, identification, and capture planning of new business opportunities in defined technical areas.

Coordinate the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, and operating budgets.

Acts as primary customer contact for contract/program activities, leading contract/program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.

Track contract status related to small business performance requirements and implement measures to meet contractual requirements.

Maintain contract budgets, coordinate sub-contractor requirements, and prepare and submit monthly progress reports and other contractually required items. 

Responsible for coordinating employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Directs the work of employees assigned to the contract/program from technical and administrative areas.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:      

10 years program management and business development experience in the DoD technical services arena including leadership, supervision, evaluation, and training employees in large project teams.

5 years experience leading a remote field location.

Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university.
