JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Program Manager will own product development programs focused on the development of systems solutions for electric vehicle charging, efficient motor and related technologies.
  • Responsibilities will include: monitoring and management of schedule, budget, deliverables, and contractual issues of managed tasks; detailed internal and external cost and performance reporting; and interacting with technical task managers on a technical level. 
  • Experience in business development and customer relationship building is desired.

    

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND

  • Must have strong background in Electro-mechanical engineering as well as both project and product development management. 
  • Must have background in development of industrial products and transfer of designs to high volume contract manufacturers
  • Accelerated application of advanced materials to commercial products.
  • New product development processes.
  • Integrated Product Development (IPD) concepts.
  • Knowledgeable of Computer Aided Design of mechanical and electrical system.
  • Standard cost accounting and contracts administration practices.
  • Basic tools of project management (Gantt charts, WBS, etc.).
  • 7+ years of experience with BSEE / BSME with 4+ years experience with an MS in Engineering. 
  • A Graduate Degree in Management or Business Administration is desirable.

 

WHAT WE DO:

Building on a history of technological innovation, AV designs, develops, produces, and supports an advanced portfolio of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and efficient electric energy systems. Agencies of the U.S. Department of Defense and allied military services use the company’s hand-launched UAS to provide situational awareness to tactical operating units through real-time, airborne reconnaissance, surveillance, and target acquisition. Commercial and governmental entities use AV’s clean transportation solutions such as electric vehicle test systems and electric vehicle fast charge systems, as well as its clean energy solutions.
