Position Summary – Program Manager
Manages assigned programs for products and/or services for both domestic and international markets to ensure program performance meets requirements as addressed in either a bid/proposal.
Duties and Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities Include:

 

  1. Lead bid development
  2. Develop work breakdown structures and project plans for manufacturing and engineering programs.
  3. Develop and maintain budgets for specified programs,
  4. Provide direct interface with customers to ensure delivery, quality and other customer expectations are being met by DRS operations
  5. Oversee production, procurement and engineering functions for specified programs while working with the functional leads to ensure customer requirements are met. 
  6. Develop and present monthly program status reports and other customer presentations on program status.
  7. Provide business capture leadership for accounts including developing and executing business capture strategies and bid and proposal strategies.
  8. Coordinate and lead periodic program reviews with customers and internal senior management.

 

Basic Qualifications

Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university in a technical field or related curriculum. 5-7 years work experience; some experience must be in a manufacturing environment.
