Position Summary – Program Manager
Manages assigned programs for products and/or services for both domestic and international markets to ensure program performance meets requirements as addressed in either a bid/proposal.
Duties and Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Lead bid development
- Develop work breakdown structures and project plans for manufacturing and engineering programs.
- Develop and maintain budgets for specified programs,
- Provide direct interface with customers to ensure delivery, quality and other customer expectations are being met by DRS operations
- Oversee production, procurement and engineering functions for specified programs while working with the functional leads to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Develop and present monthly program status reports and other customer presentations on program status.
- Provide business capture leadership for accounts including developing and executing business capture strategies and bid and proposal strategies.
- Coordinate and lead periodic program reviews with customers and internal senior management.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university in a technical field or related curriculum. 5-7 years work experience; some experience must be in a manufacturing environment.
