Community Options, Inc., a nonprofit organization that supports people with disabilities is currently seeking a Program Manager for Vaseful in New Brunswick.

Responsibilities:

Take the leading role in creatively growing this floral business in New Brunswick and supervise employees while maintaining the ability to cultivate and deal with both corporate and private customers in a professional and courteous manner

Supervise Employment Specialists who assist people with disabilities on how to acquire the physical, intellectual, emotional and social skills needed to perform specific job tasks, work routine, and personal life activities critical to employment success.

Teach the employee independent job skills and requirements.

Provides assistance to Employment Specialists in reinforcing essential skills, or teaching new skills appropriate to developing a resume, conducting a successful job interview, and completing a job application.

Instructs Employment Specialists how to work side by side with the newly placed individual at the job site, analyze the job, and break it into manageable components.

Small business management and/or retail sales and marketing experience is preferred, floral arranging is a plus.

Requirements:

Must have a BA and at least 1 year of experience working with the developmentally disabled or High School diploma or GED and 3 years of related experience and a valid Driver’s License. Excellent benefits.
