This position will be initially dedicated full-time to managing all aspects of R&D Program Management for a specific customer account. This position coordinates, assigns, tracks and completes multiple projects as required by the customer. The scope of discipline would span all areas of Engineering, Operations, Quality, Customer Service and Sales order administration processes. This position is the primary customer contact for Engineering and Operations, working closely with the Sales Account Executive.
· Define, create, manage, execute and complete all assigned projects
· Administer the MR System, processing all specific MRs including: Development, QA and Customer Service MRs.
· Liaise with Sales Account Executive and customer as appropriate on day-to-day business and technical issues.
· Assist engineers, as necessary, in creating and completing Bill of Materials (BOM).
· Development Statements of Work and track actual expenses against NRE or adders.
· Coordinate and communicate critical component lifecycles.
· Manage Product Change Notices on behalf of the customer including the qualification of replacement components and last-time-buys as required.
· Prioritize projects and activities and maintain project plans.
· Regularly brief the Project Office team and occasionally senior management on project status, plans and issues. Attend QBRs with the customer.
· Create and maintain an action item database using the MR System described above.
· Ensure final products meet requirements specifications and BOM
· Create and maintain crucial operational processes
· Ensure follow through on all action items
· Review and signoff on project deliverables and obtain customer approvals where needed.
· Authorize and document deviations from the stated process framework.
· All other duties as requested by supervisor or department head.
