Job Description:
Program Managers assist and manage programs from start to completion. The Program Manager is responsible for working with the internal team (strategy, creative, implementation, new business and finance) to ensure that work is delivered on strategy, on time and on budget. The Program Manager plays a key role in helping to develop and shape programs, build long-term client relationships and work to understand the “big picture” in branding. Program Managers guide and coach the performance of the Program Coordinators on their teams. Working with the Senior Program Manager, the Program Manager helps to ensure that team members know what they need to do and when and how much time they have to do the work.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Work with Senior PMs to author and manage
o scope of work
o meeting reports and distribute to team
o project timeline
- Work with Senior level program manager and Finance Program Manager to create and manage project budget
- Ensure successful creation and delivery of all client deliverables
- Manage small projects or elements of larger projects
- Document and communicate project status and requirements
- Review/proofread documents
- Mentor program coordinators
- Assist in writing case studies and project “best practice” summaries
- Think through business /branding issues and identify problems
- Support new business team in developing pitch documents
- Look for new business within existing or potential opportunities
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree minimum requirement
- 3-5 years experience in program management or related client service role (marketing, communications, design, advertising, etc.)
- Strong sense of responsibility and commitment
- Client relationship builder
- Pro-active, enthusiastic and diplomatic
- Strong organization skills and multi-tasker
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Highly detail oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel. FastTrack or MS Project a plus
