We are seeking a OneSource Program Manager , who will be a Project Manager for our laboratory relocation services business.
Program Management-Field based opportunity.
- Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
- Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
- Reviews and tracks deliverables prepared by PKI team before passing to client.
- Effectively applies PerkinElmer methodology and enforces project standards.
- Leads daily/weekly project management meetings with customer / internal groups.
- Minimizes exposure and risk on project.
- Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Business Development
- Leads proposal efforts including completing project scoping.
- Effectively conveys PerkinElmer message in both written and verbal business discussions as relates to each project.
Communication
- Facilitates team and client meetings effectively.
- Holds regular status meetings with project team.
- Keeps project team well informed of changes within the organization and general corporate news.
- Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors.
- Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.
- Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
- Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
Technical Understanding
- Possesses general understanding in the areas laboratory relocation.
- Possesses a thorough understanding of our capabilities.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a science discipline; PMP Certification; Master’s in business preferred. 5-7 years of Related business experience required and/or either Program Management or Project Management experience.
Prior experience in government contract / roles and laboratory relocation a plus.
Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and drive initiatives.
Demonstrate ability to effectively create, track, analyze and drive project schedules to a successful completion. Proven operational ability to visualize, identify steps and implement processes. Demonstrated leadership with a strong bias for action. Six Sigma training and demonstrated usage strongly preferred Ability to travel extensively.
