Program Manager

Alutiiq, a leader in providing Government contracting services, is seeking a profession to plan, organize, direct and coordinate program activities in all Electronic Security System program phases from proposal development support to overseeing program completion. Will work in Alutiiq’s Charleston SC office and be responsible for ESS, SCADA, and INFOSEC systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Administers design, installation, logistics, and technical support of complex integrated electronic systems.
  • Exercises strong verbal, written and listening communication skills to successfully interface with client and Alutiiq management to monitor and review program activities in order to ensure schedules are met, guidelines are adhered to, and performances are of adequate quality
  • Supervises lead personnel and directs and coordinates their activities
  • Evaluates new and existing program activities for suitability and in order to assess the need for changes, using information such as customer feedback
  • Plans, organizes, and directs all project level activities
  • Develops budgets for activities, and monitors expenditures to ensure they remain within budgetary limits. Ensures invoicing is accurate and timely
  • Overviews personnel duties such as recruitment, retention, work performance evaluation, training, and resolving employee relations issues pursuant to Federal and State laws and corporate policies and procedures
  • Assists proposal development team in writing winning proposals

Requirements:

Masters Degree in Engineering, Management, or Business. Must either have a degree from an ABET accredited institution or be a registered engineer. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is highly desirable. Must possess or have the ability to obtain a TS-SCI Clearance.

Minimum Experience:

Must have ten (10) years of supervisory and/or management experience including business administration, financial management, communication, management information systems, foundations of accounting, conflict management, and quantitative methods for decision making. Five years managing major complex technical programs; supervising at least fifteen personnel.

Knowledge of the FAR and DoD procurement policies and procedures is highly desired.
