JOB DESCRIPTION

Program Manager

PTC is looking for an experienced Program Manager with five to eight years experience supporting Navy acquisition programs through multiple phases of the DoD acquisition life cycle.  Ideal roles include program management analyst, budget/cost analyst, systems engineer, or logistician, with program-wide visibility.

Required skills—Strong business process analysis and oral & written communication skills.  Able to learn new techniques quickly, apply them to solve pressing business problems, and lead others to do the same.  Experienced leading high-performing teams of 5-10 people.  Highly proficient in MS Office 2007.

Desired skills—Experience training others in the use of enterprise software applications. 

Must have a DoD Secret clearance, and be local to the Washington, DC area.  Background as a Navy officer is a plus, as is prior consulting experience.  Must have Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university; a degree in any engineering field is a plus.
