Key Role:
Provide support to a Marine Corps Combat Development Command office. Serve as a subject matter expert in developing reconnaissance and intelligence capabilities and systems. Collect and analyze data from the Marine Corps Reconnaissance community for further systems development. Manage activities in support of accomplishing the JCIDS process for requirements documentation. Apply analytical skills for the preparation of position papers and decision memoranda and the ability to present developed recommendations to decision makers. Demonstrate experience with the Military to provide input into draft concepts of employment, mission profiles, capabilities and task analyses, gap analysis, and DOTMLPF analysis. Provide input for analysis of alternatives (AoA) planning and execution and coordinate with MCOTEA for the development of operational test plans. This position is located in Quantico, VA.
Basic Qualifications:
-4+ years of experience in the Military
-Experience with the Army or Marine Corps as a combat engineer officer
-Knowledge of the amphibious reconnaissance tactics, techniques, and procedures
-Active Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience in working with Marine Corps
-Experience with OIC or OEF preferred
-Experience at company command or battalion preferred
-Knowledge of the Marine Corps' Expeditionary Force Development Center (EFDC) and processes
-Knowledge of the Marine Corps's Material Capabilities Officer (MCO) handbook
-Knowledge of the JCIDS process
-Ability to work well in individual and team environments that require initiative
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Graduate of Expeditionary Warfare School or Amphibious Warfare School, or an equivalent Officer Advanced Course preferred

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required
