Education: | The level of knowledge to be successful in this position is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science or MIS and 5 – 7 years experience in MIS or 11 – 13 years equivalent work experience. |
Required Skills: | · Advanced knowledge of mortgage applications systems, products, operations and delivery systems. · Working knowledge of Microsoft products, including SQL and Access. · Competence in VB6 programming. · Working knowledge of the MORvision loan origination system. · Knowledge of project management methodologies. · Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication. |
Regularly performed job functions require that the Programmer Analyst:
· Become familiar with and assist in maintaining Universal’s loan origination system, MORvision.
· Work directly with key business stakeholders to understand business requirements affecting corporate use of MORvision.
· Analyze requirements and devise specifications that fulfill them.
· Develop and/or modify software to meet the specifications as agreed upon with the key business stakeholders.
· Develop and/or modify software to meet in a timely manner compliance requirements of mortgage and regulatory groups.
· Coordinate and participate in the testing and implementation of modifications and of MORvision service packs, identifying and resolving defects and unanticipated issues.
· Prepare and disseminate documentation concerning modifications to appropriate parties.
Opportunities for involvement exist in the following areas:
· Assist in maintenance of our electronic data interface application, Headstrong’s TEDI.
· Assist in maintenance of the corporate Intranet with Dot.Net.Nuke.
· Assist in design and maintenance of Crystal Reports.
· Assist with Servicing Department requests, involving ISGN’s LSAMS application and the AS400.
