Programmer Analyst RPG AS400
About the Job
Our client, a growing manufacturing company, is seeking a Programmer Analyst
with strong programming skills in RPG Free to join their team.
Responsibilities
include developing applications using RPG Free / RPG ILE on an AS400
platform for manufacturing, distribution and order entry systems. There
will be some client server development also, so knowledge of C# or
VB.NET will be very helpful. You will also be performing SQL queries.
The work will be approximately 50% new development and 50% maintenance.
Will be gathering requirements, time lining projects and working with
users. Full life cycle development. Will work as part of a small team.
Occasional travel to other plant locations in the Midwest.
Requires
2+ years experience in RPG FREE / RPG ILE on the AS400 platform,
ability to manage projects, gather requirements and time line projects.
Knowledge of, and experience with, C#, VB.NET strongly preferred. SQL
is required. Also requires the ability to interact well with others on
the team. Degree preferred.
Client offers some relocation
assistance to candidates who are in nearby states and offers excellent
benefits to include 401K, vacation, profit sharing and health care.
