Our company is based in Greenwich, Connecticut and we are looking for a new programmer who is proficient in several programming languages especially Apple native languages as well as the Apple platform (OS X + Xcode). Java Script, HTML, C, Objective C, Webkit and FLEX are languages that will be used. The programmer/engineer must be totally fluent in Mac OS X + Apple products: hardware and software. WE ARE AN APPLE BASED COMPANY! We are looking for a programmer who can develop very FAST applications that communicate with Web Sites, as well as access the DOM tree programmatically.

The programmer will be involved with and supervised over the following projects:

-Reading and understanding our senior programmer's current application, making changes, adding new venues/websites to our engine.

-Creating a POS (Point of Sale) for our Inventory and Customers. Customer Management, Inventory Management, File Exporting Ability, Report Exporting, Invoices, Purchase Orders, E-Commerce Integration (Credit Card Merchant)

-Creating web parsing programs that can scrape information of individual user accounts; store that data in a database and produce the associated PDF files in one central location.

Other requirements:

-Finance comprehension. Market moving, pricing, inventory, supply and demand, bid/ask

-Hosting, Websites/Web Applications - OSX Server usage a plus

-Unix

-GUI design and implementation

-Terminal experience

-Reliability

-Work out of our Greenwich, CT location; Punctuality required - Hours 8:30 am - 4:30 pm -  with overtime as needed, Tuesday through Saturday (We are located walking distance from Metro North Train Station)

-Take instruction on how to plan for a live trading day and execute all deliverables to our clients

-Will sign NDA's and employment agreements preventing our trade secrets from exposure. Sign non-compete agreements.

Highly desirable skills/knowledge:

-Apple Remote Desktop

-Desire to make a lot of money by working harder and smarter than other programmers

-Up to date with current events, news, sports, and entertainment

-Up to date with newest Apple Hardware and Software/Languages
