Energy company in Minnesota has an immediate need for a Contract SCADA PROGRAMMER. Responsibilities - Provides support for Electric Energy Management, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems
Requirements - Requires BSCS, BS Engineering, or a similar discipline and 5+years experience supporting SCADA systems. Equivalent experience developing or supporting an Electric EMS,SCADA environment will be considered
- Must have technical skills with Siemens Spectrum, Pascal, Unix, C/C++, Java and Oracle
- Seeking skills with specific applications within the environment, which include Automatic Generation Control (AGC), Network Applications (NA), Interchange Transaction Scheduling (ITS), Energy Accounting (EA), etc. to provide support to Programming managers
- Must be available to be on-call during nights and weekends
- Must have Unix experience
