Project Engineer -2 (Electrical)

As we grow, we are looking for engineers like you to join our company and lead the development and execution of control system integration projects. You will partner with our clients to design the right systems to realize their productivity and quality objectives. You will be given the opportunity, and encouraged, to develop both technical and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Most of the applications are within Medium Industrial Plants, with particular focus on Equipment Test Cells, Large Product Conveying systems and Drive Systems. 

·         Maintains and troubleshoots hardware and Software for Drive control systems.

·         Test equipment, PLCs, and drive systems at factory site.

·         Travels to customer site to diagnose, correct fault and maintains system.

·         Applies advanced skills to resolve complex problems not covered by existing procedures or practices independently.

·         Displays a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high-impact and/or complex problems.

Skills Required:

·         Basic PLC programming knowledge required.

·         Ability to troubleshoot and perform modifications to existing PLC programs.

·         Experience with Siemens and/or Allen Bradley PLCs preferred

·         Prior experience within the Medium to Large Industrial Plants, Automation Systems, experience with project execution, detailed engineering and/or service. Extensive experience in AC and DC industrial drive systems & motors (preferably Rockwell) and good computer skills.

·         3-6 years experience desired, preferably in a plant environment

Desired:

·         Typically 3-6+ years of successful experience in Industrial Control applications in industry where medium to large electrical and automation systems containing drives, automation systems, HMI systems etc. are extensively used.

·         Control panel design and basic controls electrical design (wiring diagrams, loop sheets, etc) desired.

·         Experience in process industry (chemical, life sciences, pulp and paper) desired

·         Education:
Typically BS in Electrical Engineering (industrial Drives and power systems). Preferred
