Continued growth has created a new role for a broadly experienced Lead Project Controls Engineer professional to take a key role in capital expansion projects. The selected candidate will be compensated with a highly competitive salary, annual bonus and excellent benefits plan. Eligible for relocation package.

Responsibilities

• Lead team of cost analysts, engineers and contractors supporting large projects utilizing appropriate processes, procedures and project control principles
• Gather, format and analyze necessary information for forecasting, WBS and other reporting purposes
• Manage requests for funding and cost analyses
• Assess project/cost risks
• Develop drawdown contingency plan
• Prepare timely and accurate status reports and present to management
• Identify and implement process improvements with focus on strategic objectives
• Overseer integrity of Project Controls processes and procedures during technology implementations
• Key player in assessment and planning of strategic and operational business process improvement opportunities

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field, MBA is a plus
• 3+ years management experience, preferably in the pipeline industry
• 7+ years experience planning small and large projects, preferably in the pipeline industry and including estimating, scheduling, contract administration, and document management
• Software: Oracle (or other ERP) system, Primavera P6, MS Project.
