Project Director-Large Projects

We are an established global manufacturing leader searching the market for a sharp Project Director western New York manufacturing operation located in the Jamestown/Olean/Wellsville area.

This person must have a minimum of 10 years of experience managing a large projects (in excess of $100MM) that include high complexity, high value, high risk either in a manufacturing or construction or EPC environment.

Job Keys:

-Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction science or project management is required

-PMP certification is preferred but not required

-Minimum 10 years of experience managing multiple large dollar volume projects with accountability for the scope, scheduling, cost, earned value analysis/progress reporting, change order management and risk analysis  

-Candidates also need to possess at least 5 years of people management experience

-Liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and management to develop relationships that are conductive to the successful completion of projects

-Monitor and effectively report progress and status of the project to management and client in accordance with the project plan

-Fully understand the provisions of the contract for the project
