Description

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable, regulatory licenses, permits, and codes of operation and conduct during all phases of the project
  •  Schedule, organize and oversee construction/engineering field projects
  •  Coordinate with engineering staff, contractors, consultants to achieve project goals
  • Provide documentation of project including work processes, procedures, and standards used 
  • Evaluate and document contractor performance in all aspects of the job (safety, quality of workmanship, etc.) 
  • Review project scope and design to best reduce safety hazards for construction operation and maintenance.
  • Provide project safety planning for safe execution of work
  • Provide constructability reviews for project designs.
  • Administer and file Project Files/Drawings and related documents in a manner that ensures electronic access in the engineering document management system, using the approved, related file format and hierarchy.

 



Required Skills

 

  • Thorough knowledge of an extensive field experience in construction/project management and ability to work in related settings, and perform related functions, with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Thorough knowledge of construction/project safety and environmental rules and regulations
  • Highly organized
  • Excellent reasoning ability and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to work well with any/all constituents.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office products and Microsoft Project.

 



Required Experience

  • 5-7 years Mechanical Background
  • College degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (B.S.), or equivalent years of hands-on experience
