Description of Responsibilities:

1. Able to Understand and Create the load calculations (Static & Dynamic) back to truss panel points based on conveyor equipment loads, area equipment loads and vehicle loads requirements for power & free conveyor systems.

 
2. Utilize Load Calculations to Develop structural steel specifications to provide the steel support for the equipment in a assembly plant

 
3. Develop bid specifications for Final Assembly Shop conveyor systems modifications &/or additions

4. Able to be the Project Manager for the construction of the main line Final Assembly conveyors

5. Track and Manage the equipment suppliers & installers contract labor hours to achieve budgets

Qualifications/ Skills:

Required: 5+ years experience
1. Auto cad level 3 capability
2. Capability of basic PLC programming
3. Basic Catia V5 R21capability
4. Past experience with design and install of power and free conveyor and
friction drive systems
5. 5+ years design work experience with major conveyor company
