Innovative Technical Solutions, Inc. (ITSI) is a national Engineering, Construction & Consulting firm based in Walnut Creek, California, (www.itsi.com) focusing on providing design-build infrastructure and environmental solutions for our clients.  ITSI's clients include all branches of the Department of Defense in addition to municipal and commercial clients.

We are seeking a Project Engineer  for our Federal Construction group in Baltimore, MD.

Responsibilities will include:

• Support scope, plan development, and design on Department of Defense construction projects
• Development of planning documents for construction projects
• Provide construction oversight and quality control on field projects including trouble shooting of technical issues
• Managing the work and progress of design and engineering sub-contractors
• Support proposal preparation efforts
• Lead submittal development and review.

Experience Requirements:

• 8+ years experience on building, infrastructure, site work, pavement, and related construction activities
• 3+ years experience working on Federal government projects
• Strong communication skills required
• BS degree in Civil Engineering preferred
• PE a strong plus
