The Role:  Project Engineer (DeltaV)

Zenith Technologies is looking to select a talented Project Automation Engineers for the US operation. We are currently
hiring a permanent engineer with DeltaV and Pharmaceutical
experience. The
Project or Systems Engineer executes the project under the supervision of the
Lead Engineer and Project Manager. The engineer may be automation hardware,
software or process based.

Within this
role you will:

• Generate
  Functional Design Specifications for the DeltaV DCS system


• Generate
  Software Design Specification


• Raise and
  process change requests for hardware / software changes Review and
  analysis of User Requirements Specification Documents


• Solution
  prototyping


• Development
  of Graphic User Interface


• Software/Hardware
  development


• Generate
  DeltaV Batch code (FBD & SFC’s)


• Software/Hardware
  testing


• Generate
  and execute test documentation & protocols as part of a cross
  discipline team


• Red-line
  design documentation (FDS/SDS) and drawings


• Trouble
  shoot DCS software problems


• Commissioning

The successful candidate will need:

• A strong
  understanding of Automation systems

• Minimum
  of three (3) years DeltaV DCS batch configuration experience


• Familiarity
  with the ISA S.88 model for Batch Control Systems


• Experience
  with sterile manufacturing within the pharmaceutical industry


• Knowledge
  of GMP, GAMP, safety and environmental regulatory requirements


• Good
  understanding of the production & utility processes (in particular
  Clean In Place)


• Minimum
  of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline


• (desirable)
  Knowledgeable and experienced in the interface complexities with the MES
  layer (specifically Aspen Tech IP21®,Werum, etc.), the control layer
  (specifically Stahl RIO, Foundation Field-Bus I/O, and PLC sub -systems
  (Siemens and Allen-Bradley)
