About the Job
Project Engineer Solutions Analyst for cent OH IT development & consulting firm. Duties: In collaboration with testing team, perform proof of concept database failure and review of data recovery; establish a base line recovery process acceptable to the business; reconfirm that the current definition of OLS is acceptable based on system requirements; verify if database recovery should serve as the primary corrective action to application data flaws or should patch programs be considered; analyze concerns associated with not offering OLS for a limited period after launch in light of publicly communicated expectations and contractual obligations; reconfirm desired level of backup vis-a-vis desired system availability; formulate and define systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements; use print resources using mainframe based technologies to create the final high-speed laser print output; use Custom Statement Formatter (CSF); generate PDFs viewable from online applications; use UNIVAC, Unisys Dorado 2200, ASSEMBLER, COBOL, MASIM, DMS1100, RDMS, Working in Real Time batch processing environment synchronizing processing of DMS and RDMS in a single thread, COBOL, MARKIV, TIP, TELON, CICS, IMS-DB, and provide guidelines for database maintenance to Oracle DBA.
