About the Job
The Project Engineer is responsible for working closely with clients and cross functional mindSHIFT support teams to manage and maintain the local and wide area network technology used by our clients. This position involves using both business skills as well as technology skills to implement and support solutions within our broad customer base.

- Windows NT, 2000, 2003, 2008 and Active Directory
- Microsoft Exchange Servers versions 5.5 through 2007
- VMware ESX Server
- SAN Solutions
- HP and Dell Servers
- Multiple domain controllers
- Multiple application servers
- High speed internet connections (DSL, T1, MPLS, DS3) using Citrix and VPN
- Cisco Routers
- Firewall appliances such as Cisco ASA, PIX, WatchGuard and NetScreen
- VPN Technology
- Citrix and Terminal Servers
- High Speed Ethernet Backbones
- Enterprise backup hardware and software solutions
- Enterprise anti-virus software solutions
- Disaster Recovery Testing
- Altiris Management Suite and deployment practices
Required
- 5+ years of recent experience designing modern networks including TCP/IP
- Excellent communication skills
- A proven track record in customer service
- Ability to recognize and engage with clients on new opportunities
- Ability to conduct and manage client meetings
- Occasional evening and weekend work
