Consumer Products/Industrial Manufacturing Company is looking for:

 
POSITION:  Project Engineer 
LOCATION:  Manteca, CA 
SALARY:  65-80K 
DEGREE:  Required 
EXPERIENCE:  2-3 Years 
RELOCATION:  Lump Sum Available 
 
Overall this is a pretty great opportunity for an Engineer who will eventually want to grow into Management and wants to be a part of a venture  for a growing organization The hiring manager, will be retiring within 2-3 years and he wants someone to help him get this piece of our business started and then take his place as Ops Manager. This person will be the Ops Manager’s right hand person and will also get to learn the leadership part through him as well. 2-3 years experience in manufacturing environment. Some of that 2-3 years could have been an internship - they just have to be interested in a leadership role for the future.  There is a small amount of travel.  
 
This has to be an Engineer that is REALLY eager to dive in and create/develop from scratch. Must have a broad and narrow scope. This person will be responsible for:

·         Looking at production

·         Developing SOP’s

·         Developing a Preventive Maintenance Program

·         Running rate metrics

·         Creating training programs for Operators

·         Preventative Maintenance

·         Developing a production database (for run rates and changeovers)

·         Process Improvements

·         Develops SOP, HACCP, GMP, Quality (this position not responsible for Safety)

·         Lots of liability – if something goes wrong, can be very costly

·         Development of new product
