90+ years young and growing, CIMCO Refrigeration, a member of the Toromont Industries Limited group of companies, is North America’s leader in the design and installation of industrial and recreational refrigeration systems.  We maintain twenty four sales and service offices across Canada and the United States, as well as a manufacturing facility in Toronto.  We are extensively involved with the food processing, dairy, cold storage industries, and the recreational skating industry, including the design of NHL facilities in both Canada and the United States.

The Position:

The role of Project Engineer – Mobile Alabama is part of our Engineering Services team of over sixty professional engineers, technologists, and designers. 

Responsibilities will include:

·        System design    - Mechanical design aspects of the various types of refrigeration systems in Industrial and Recreational applications.

·        System Control - Design of electro-mechanical control systems for refrigeration applications.

·        Equipment selection and specification of all refrigeration related components.

·        Specification of control requirements for DDC and PLC equipment.

·        Procurement of products and/or services in support of our refrigeration contracting functions.

·        Liaison with construction personnel, owners, and consultants in support of the engineering design and construction of the refrigeration system.

·        Development of National standards for adoption by CIMCO.

·        Preparation and/or supervision of drawings using AutoCAD.

The Successful Candidate:

·        Bachelor of Science in either Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering from an accredited University with a strong Thermodynamics inclination.

·        Self-motivated.

·        Goal oriented.

·        Excellent oral and written communication skills.

·        AutoCAD and MS Office experience.

·        SAP, Process System Design, Capital Project Implementation, and/or Refrigeration experience will be considered to be very valuable assets for consideration.
