JMWA is looking for an experienced Project Engineer for HTRW related work!
- Provide oversight for site remediation (HTRW) work to ensure safe, timely and cost effective completion of projects.
- Ensure compliance with the remedial design, work plans and construction specifications
- Candidates are expected to fill associated engineering responsibilities related to scheduling, estimating, quality assurance, inspections, submittal reviews, project log maintenance, safety enforcement, punch list and close out, etc.
- This is a field position where the work day is split between field and field office (trailer).
- Candidate will be expected to conduct and/or attend project meetings, as required.
- Responsible for documentation associated with daily, weekly and monthly reports.

- Must have relevant skills/experience in site remediation (HTRW).
- Must have the ability to read blue prints, specifications and survey plats.
- Must be familiar with remedial construction activities including construction quality control /assurance requirements, inspections and final site and as-built drawings.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of direct project experience required.
- Experience with CERCLA actions and governing regulations, policies and procedures.
- BS, Civil Engineering degree preferred (other relevant Engineering, Environmental, or Construction 4 year degree may be acceptable) with commensurate HTRW experience.
- P.E. preferred but EIT as a minimum desired.
- Knowledge/familiarity with Army Corps of Engineers processes and procedures highly desirable.
- 40 hour OSHA HTRW training (with refreshers) required.
- Medical monitoring and clearances, as appropriate.
