A Henderson, NV based design/manufacturing company is looking to expand its engineering department by one individual. We are currently looking for a qualified candidate possessing at minimum, a Bachelor of Science degree as a Mechanical Engineer. Three to five years working experience as an ME beyond the degree is required. It would be beneficial if an applicant possessed a working understanding of both an ME and EE, but it is not required. This individual will work as part of a team developing various consumer electronic products from their initial concept through final production.  We design, develop, and manufacture consumer electronic products for a variety of different industries.

It would be extremely beneficial if candidates have an understanding of overseas product manufacturing as well as an understanding of various Plastic Molding Processes, Metal Manufacturing, Consumer Product Design, a working knowledge of SolidWorks, and all MS Office programs.  

Job responsibilities include:

• Keeping track of project time lines to complete tasks on schedule
• Design and development of consumer products (3D modeling design)
• Communication with overseas factory engineers and internal team members
• Acting as a technical liaison/support/advisor for customer projects
• Setting up testing procedures to ensure products meet acceptable quality levels 

Requirements:  

• BSME  
• 2 to 5 years relevant experience  
• 3D modeling experience (any software is ok but SolidWorks is prefered)  
• Experience designing assemblies that incorporate plastic, metal, & electrical parts  
• Possess strong communication skills both verbal and written

• Have strong organizational skills
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Have a strong desire and passion to continuously hone their skills
