
Position: Project Controls Engineer
MOCA Systems is a nationally recognized program and construction management firm that greatly improves project performance.
MOCA provides a breakthrough approach to project controls (cost and schedule management) that helps owners more consistently achieve better within-budget and on-time project performance. MOCA professionals use existing cost and scheduling applications such as Primavera(TM) and Timberline Cost Estimating, augmented with our proprietary MOCABuild(TM) software platform, to meet project requirements throughout the programming, design and construction phases.
We are actively seeking Project Engineers to be critical members of our project teams. Interested candidates should have a demonstrated ability to develop construction cost estimates and schedules at various stages throughout the project life cycle, and a minimum of 2 years related experience in large multi-million dollar government, commercial or institutional projects. The successful candidate will support and augment a project team in the programming and management of a construction programs. This includes the development and execution of plans, schedules, and budgets using standard cost and scheduling applications improved by the MOCABuild™ project controls system.
Qualifications you will have if you are a great candidate;
Required
· Four-year college degree (B.S.) in Engineering or Construction Management
· 2+ years of related engineering or construction management experience
· Primaver proficiency
· Experience and interest in developing cost estimates and detailed construction schedules
· Demonstrated proficiency in MS word and MS Excel
A Plus
· 2+ year of engineering, construction managment or scheduling experience
· Experience with USACE, AFCEE or NAVFAC construction program
· Experience with Timberline, P2, Oracle Projects and Primavera
· Desire to obtain professional designations such as CCE, CCC, or PE

· Review all documents and site conditions to become familiar with the project
· Collect and validate local market data to be used in cost estimates
· Perform and document detailed takeoffs
· Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates and construction schedules
· Communicate with vendors, clients, engineers, and all team members
