Our client is a leading global supplier of implantable medical devices for the spine.  The company designs and produces surgical instrumentation and implants for Neurosurgery, Microsurgery and Orthopedic.

Our client is seeking a qualified candidate to be responsible for research, design, validation, and solving clinical issues as it pertains to the product group. Through regular interaction with end users, the project team will also be involved in the development process. The engineer will also be responsible for managing all aspects of the assigned project and conform to the companies quality policies.  Experience leading cross functional teams is a must.  

Successful candidate MUST have these minimum capabilities to be considered for this position: Bachelors Degree with 3-6 years medical device product development/project engineering experience required for Project Engineer OR 6-10 years medical device product development/project engineering experience for Senior Project Engineer,  Masters Degree a plus; general knowledge of titanium alloys and stainless steels as well as knowledge of manufacturing principles and design for manufacturability; ability to utilize 3D CAD software; experience with FEA and GD&T a must. Solidworks experience preferred. Ability to travel up to 30% required.
