Project Estimator - Full-Time Position

Edgeboro International, Inc. is a private, full service environmental design, management, and construction company seeking a motivated and experienced full-time project estimator.  Our scope of work primarily includes but is not limited to:

• General Earthwork, Site Work, Storm Water and Utilities


• Landfill Design, Construction, Management, Operation and Maintenance


• Gas Vapor Barriers and Sub-Slab Ventilation Systems


• Methane Gas Extraction Systems


• Leachate / Water Extraction Systems


• Brownfield Remediation Projects


• Waste to Energy Systems; including Methane Power Plants


• Solar Energy Systems

Job Requirements & Educational Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in civil or environmental project estimating


• Sufficient computer skills including the use of estimating software is required


• AutoCAD or computer aided take off is required


• Ability to execute take-offs on both small and large scale projects


• Adequate knowledge of the construction process from inception to completion


• B.S. or equivalent education in related field is preferred

Job Responsibilities:

To be an ideal candidate you must be a dependable self starter, able to work both independently and alongside others. A sense of urgency and ability to prioritize is crucial. You must be able to clearly communicate with both clients and fellow co-workers in order to retain repeat business and effectively increase project opportunities. EII expects our project estimator to develop and maintain all resource information, including vendors, products, contractors, labor, equipment and Local, State and Federal documentation. Bidding information should be kept orderly and accessible.

This is a good growth opportunity.  Office hours are 9-5 with additional hours sometimes necessary.  The applicant must be flexible to this as needs or emergencies arise.  Salary will commensurate with experience.
