The Nucleus Group, a leading medical communications agency providing a wide range of marketing services to world leading pharmaceutical and diagnostic companies, is seeking a full-time Project Finance Accountant.  The PFA will be a business partner to our US based teams and also interact directly with our overseas operations. The successful candidate will need to be a self-starter who seeks independence from day to day supervision and the opportunity to interact directly with highly educated staff at all levels of the corporation.

 Requirements:

• At least five years of finance and accounting experience required, or an appropriate combination of education and experience


• Prior experience in a fee income based professional service organization is highly preferred


• Prior experience of revenue recognition using the percent complete methodology is highly preferred


• Experience directly interacting with senior management (Vice President and above) is preferred


• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting from an accredited college or university required


• Computer Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skill required, advanced Word and PowerPoint skills preferred. General knowledge and experience of accounting software required.
