Project Lead / Project Manager – Enterprise Data Warehouse / BI

Contract-to-Hire

Location: Plano, TX

Essential Job Function:

Project Leadership for the implementation of an Enterprise Data Warehouse.  The EDW will consist of a Central Data Foundation Layer and Conformed Datamarts.

Required Qualifications:  

·         Position typically filled by candidate having 10 + years BI related experience with 4-6 years’ experience delivering large scale Data Warehouse Projects.

·         At least one full project lifecycle delivering a Hub and Spoke Data Warehouse in a multi terabyte Data Warehouse Environment.

·         Strong program management

·         Strong Business Analysis Skills

·         Ability to develop business process models (swim lane, RACI charts, process flows etc) using VISIO

·         Strong partnering and negotiation skills

·         Ability to communicate technical and non technical issues at different levels of the organization

·         Ability to manage large scale Data Warehouse projects

·         Ability to develop task, project and program level specifications

·         Strong customer service/team orientation

·         Project Management Certification (PMP) desired

·         Broad understanding of related Data Warehouse technologies highly desired

·         Ability to facilitate issues investigation and resolution

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office, Project and VISIO
