The Project Leader, Implementation acts to organize, coordinate, integrate and direct project and implementation activities associated with the implementation of various projects or applications. The best performers in this position are capable of critical decision making in a real time environment. Top performers will use their ability to influence outcomes and decisions by strategic relationship management. These top performers will also drive decisions, take action, and see issues through to completion. The Project Leader, Implementation will provide direction to the Implementation team which can consist of 1 - 5 employees from the Process Improvement staff or on-loan from business.
Qualified candidates must have:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, technical, or analytical major.
• 5-8 years of consulting, IT, and/or supply chain experience.
• Strong knowledge and experience, warehouse operations and WMS systems, workforce management solutions (e.g., time & attendance, labor scheduling, engineered standards, incentives, labor productivity reporting) in the food industry, wholesale, and/or retail industry.
• Experience leading implementations of one or more of the above systems into distribution centers. Experience should include configuration, design, training plans, and overall project management. 2-4 years preferred
• Proven ability to manage projects successfully to on-budget, on-time conclusions while also delivering the desired business benefits.
• Desire experience with one or more tier 1 WMS solutions: EXE, RedPrairie, Manhattan, etc.,
