Project Leader (New York, New York) sought by Thomson Reuters (Markets) LLC, 3 Times Square, New York, New York 10036. Design, develop, enhance and maintain real time market data desktop applications and financial applications that provide strategic solutions and analysis to investment management, Investment Banking and Wealth Management customers, using C++/COM/ATL/WPF.
Req: Any college undergraduate degree (U.S. or foreign) in Computer Science or related field, plus five (5) years of experience in software development, design and maintenance of real-time financial and trading applications. (Note: either a 3 year or a 4 year undergraduate degree, or foreign equivalent, in the designated fields will be acceptable.) Experience to include 3 years in: designing and developing front-end and back-end interfaces of real-time market data and trading applications; Win32 and ActiveX development using ATL/COM, C++ and STL; Web development using ASP.NET and Javascript; Microsoft diagnostics tools Windows Debugger (WinDBG) and VTune; using object-oriented analysis, design, processes and techniques for software development process from requirements gathering to system deployment; and 2 years of experience in: Monitor Code quality, complexity, coverage and Code optimization using DevPartner and CLR profiler; and performance analysis using PerfMon. (Exp can be gained concurrently.)
