Position Summary
Position will lead Purchasing projects, sourcing activities and supplier management for assigned areas in support of plant operations and facilities.

Key responsibilities would include savings opportunity identification, project scope definition and implementation. Categories could include: Facility and Mechanical Services, Industrial Supplies, Office Supplies, Packaging, and other materials. Collaborate with direct and indirect resources as needed in support of the sourcing strategy.

Job Requirements:
 
  • Project leadership and execution experience (multiple projects required)
  • 10-15 years of Purchasing experience (MRO and RM), including 5+ years in leadership role.
  • Bachelor of Science degree required
  • Experience in development and execution of S&OP process
  • Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding PC skills and experience in an automated purchasing environment is preferred
  • Must be willing to travel 30% of the time.
