Project Level and/or Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer
Overview:
Our Sacramento office has an opening for a Project Level and/or Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer, depending upon experience level. The position allows for excellent opportunities for advancement over a short timeframe. Although the position is based in Sacramento, there may be opportunities to work on projects throughout California and other places in North America.
Responsibilities:
If you are the ideal candidate, if you have:
• A desire to prove your engineering and management skills quickly so that you can rapidly advance in one of the most respected firms in the world The experience must be in water and/or wastewater engineering planning, design, specifications writing, estimating, and permitting. (California experience is preferred, but other experience will be considered.) • Project Management opportunity based on qualifications.
• Comfort and experience in dealing with multidisciplinary teams. Experience dealing with public agencies for reviews and approvals. • California registration as a professional engineer
Qualifications:
Those with the proven ability to become registered engineers in California within twelve months, and those with other unique talents, even with no professional designation, might also be considered if skills can be demonstrated in:
• Water distribution systems computer modeling and analysis and/or extensive calculations dealing with water systems, pumps, and/or treatment systems
• At least 10-20 years of experience for a Senior Project Engineering role.
• Work on water or wastewater pumping stations, pipelines, wells, treatment plants, etc. • Proficiency using AutoCAD and MS Office products • Experience with water and/or wastewater systems planning and engineering • Good oral and written communication skills • Bachelors Degree; Civil Engineering preferred.
