Position Description

Project Management Professionals

Vaco Resources, a national project consulting firm, provides the highest quality, senior-level financial and accounting professionals on an interim and project basis. Currently, we are seeking consultants for our Richmond, VA office with the following experience:

Project Management Professionals
Managing various aspects of business projects. Includes project planning and design, implementing strategic and tactical initiatives, and ensuring, through formal project management practices, that the final product meets the original project requirements. Includes intermediate level ability to develop detailed plans and schedules with project tracking and oversight. Leads one or more projects, which may involve multiple financial, technical, or business disciplines. Uses Microsoft Project, and analyzes data in Excel and presents in PowerPoint.

Skills:
- Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects.
- Provides solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
- Strong accounting/finance knowledge a plus
- PMP certification a plus
- Solid communication and presentation skills needed
- Strong relationship building skills are a must
