The Opportunity

Project Manager (Banking, Connectivity)


Kforce has a client seeking a Project Manager (Banking, Connectivity) in Lake Zurich, Illinois (IL).

The Manager, Connectivity is in charge of providing our client base with a premier experience on bank connectivity on-boarding, from a bank reporting and/or funds transfer perspective. Manager operates as an escalation point for our clients and is in charge of coordinating and collaborating the client onboarding with the different parts of our organization while managing a team of Technical Implementation Consultants. The Manager, Connectivity is accountable for providing a successful client experience on our connectivity services. reports directly to the VP, Solutions Deliver.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of Technical Implementation Consultants responsible for the setup of connectivity-related modules of client's implementations, including multi-bank reporting and funds transfers, and interfaces to other 3rd party applications

  • Has ownership for providing a satisfactory connectivity on-boarding experience to our Customer base

  • Project Management of all connectivity-related projects - manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and prioritize workload within the team effectively

  • Regular follow-ups with Clients and other internal stakeholders and act as escalation points on all connectivity-related projects

  • Improve results through regular reporting metrics and analysis, including level of effort, budget, duration, and other useful metrics that would help with continuous improvement

  • Regular reporting to upper management on various useful metrics

  • Escalations to upper management in case of abnormal delays or complexities on implementations

  • Creation and maintenance of documentation on technical specifications and implementation (and support) process

  • Drive innovation and adoption of new technology that results in improved financial performance for the business


  • Bachelor's degree

  • At least 2 years of management experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in Project Management in IT software company or banking industry

  • At least 2 years of experience in Customer Relationship Management

  • Strong knowledge of the banking industry and technology including SWIFT

  • Creative, problem solver with operational mind set

  • Resourceful with ability to work in a fast pace environment

  • Self-organized and capability to work under pressure within tight deadlines

  • Solid communication and collaboration skills

  • Positive mind set and strong motivator

  • Ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Experience with Clarizen, JIRA, Confluence a plus
