Project Manager Cnslt

About the Job

Our client is having Project Manager Cnslt position in Boston.

Project Manager experienced in trade processing, with sound knowledge of end to end (i.e., front, middle, and back offices) derivatives (Swaps, Libor Basis products, Options on Futures, Government Securities, Repos and Currency Forwards), is required to work within the technology department to manage the project and a team of analysts (i.e. both BA’s and QA’s).  The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

 

           Leads the end-to-end planning and management of Fixed Income Derivatives Project within Global Markets

           Prepares Project Execution Documentation adhering to SSUP model

           Can independently plan, organize and control the activities of multiple, large-scale, cross-functional project teams

           Oversees management and control of project scope

           Oversee the management of project staffing and works closely with Application Manager to ensure adequate staffing during project lifecycle

           Oversees the management of overall project communications, risks, and issues resolution

           Manages external vendor relationship

           Oversees the management of an  end-to-end project budget

           Oversees the management of project tracking and reporting

           Oversees the management of on time and on budget delivery

           Defines and oversees communication with sponsors and management concerning project strategy, status, and issues

           Recognized thought leader on project management best practices

           Persuades and influences colleagues at all levels of the organization

           Uses a broad array of communication vehicles to lead, direct, and facilitate

           Anticipates critical issues and risks and takes responsibilities for resolution across the organization

 

Bachelors Degree in technology, finance, business or equivalent.  MBA or CFA a plus

 

At least 8+ years of related professional financial services and project management experience   

           Extensive knowledge of Fixed Income Derivatives or related business functions including but not limited to: Swaps, Libor Basis products, Options on Futures, Government Securities, Repos and Currency Forwards

           Knowledge of Summit FT, InTrader, Wall Street, and Fenics systems a plus

           MS Office Products

           Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills

           Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills

           Very strong management, project management and leadership skills

           Very strong relationship management skills
