HNTB Water Services Group Great Lakes Division has an opening for a highly energetic Senior Project Manager focused on growth opportunities with a specialization in water and wastewater design. Our Cincinnati office is experiencing unprecedented growth in project work for federal, state and local clients, and in all HNTB disciplines. The ideal candidate will be the major component in growing a satellite operation into a major market presence. The ideal candidate will have relationships with and experience working on projects for The Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati and/or the Greater Cincinnati Water Works, and will be motivated by project pursuits and developing staff.
The responsibilities of this position are:
- Lead the marketing pursuits of Water Services in the Cincinnati Area, including client relationship development, project identification, client meetings, proposal input.
- Manage and mentor local water/wastewater engineering staff.
- Lead and participate in HNTB client service teams
- Project Management - Manage budgets, schedules and deliverables, and undertake technical work associated with all or a portion of the Water Services, ensuring all client expectations are exceeded on mega projects.
- Active participation in related professional associations, increasing HNTB’s Cincinnati presence.
Qualifications
The qualified candidate will have:
15+ years of water/wastewater experience
- Strong leadership in design of water and wastewater services
- Successfully managed design projects up to $2 million dollars in fee
- Professional Engineering registration or ability to obtain registration, in Ohio.
- Strong communication skills required.
