Project Manager, Design & Implementation -Clinical Project Services

We are seeking a talented Project Manager, Design and Implementation to serve as the direct interface between the sponsor with the
following main areas of responsibility:


 


?         Ensuring that the client?s system, service and support needs are accurately outlined in the project?s user requirement specifications and other supporting documents.


?         Ensuring user requirement specifications are properly executed in the development of the software. 


?         Ensuring that all project timelines are met, that all project required tasks are performed and that all project staff perform assigned project specific tasks according to standard operating policy and procedures (SOP?s).


 


Specific duties include:


 


?         Writing user requirement specification documentation


?         Participating in the functional specification review process


?         Ensuring the on-time distribution of all client deliverables


?         Ensuring communication of all project changes to project team members


?         Generating all software change requests for all required system updates.


?         Ensuring that the development, validation and ongoing support are performed according to all applicable SOP?s and Working Instructions.


?         Providing protocol-specific project training to project team members as needed


?         Participating in project-specific sponsor teleconferences


?         Providing training of clinical study staff at investigator meetings


?         Monitoring billed project time and budget levels


?         Overseeing Project Manager Study Maintenance (SM) activities during project start-up phase


?         Providing design support for PM-SM during project maintenance phase


?         Assisting in project specific troubleshooting and problem solving


?         Assisting with after hours technical support for assigned studies


?         Participating in project specific sponsor teleconferences





Education:


?         Bachelor?s degree ? preferred (or)


?         Associates degree with 2-3 years of pharmaceutical or clinical research related experience - required


Requirements:


?         18-24 months of supporting clinical studies utilizing IVRS technology


?         2 years of pharmaceutical research or CRO industry experience


?         Minimum 2 years of client management experience


?         1 year experience managing budgets


?         2 years Project Management experience


?         Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously 


?         Normal Business Hours based on a nine hour workday; availability to provide coverage beyond regular business hours during the week.


?         Demonstrate knowledge of the clinical trial process


?         Strong communication skills (written and verbal)


?         Strong interpersonal skills


?         Strong customer service skills


?         Ability to operate in project team environment


?         Strong organizational skills


?         Ability to perform multiple project tasks


?         Strong analytical skills


?         Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office
