Project Manager (ERP Software)

Overview:

This position is for one of the leading providers of Business Application ERP Software Solutions in the Windows/SQL Server environment.  Their office is located in beautiful Central California (Bakersfield), which affords a peaceful and affordable living environment, within driving distance to both Los Angeles and San Francisco.  Our consultants provide installation, implementation, training and support, as well as custom development and report writing services to companies in the fast growth, middle and mid-enterprise markets.

They are currently seeking a talented individual for the position of ERP Project Manager. This person will focus on understanding client business and technical requirements while facilitating creative and comprehensive solutions to address business and operational challenges through the use of Microsoft Dynamics platform.  The Project Manager will work closely with client management and staff along with Company Team Members to manage and perform all tasks and activities in the overall solution life-cycle. The Project Manager will ideally have  experience  with mid-tier enterprise software like Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains and Solomon).  Compensation plans includes a base salary plus bonus and benefits.

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of the Project Manager are:

·         Manage all facets of small to large-scale Microsoft Dynamics SL & GP implementation efforts

·         Perform detail business requirements analysis, solutions design, requirements definition and gap analysis

·         Manage all project activity, provide project status and communication with project and team members

·         Identify and recommend product customizations, enhancements or work-arounds to meet client business requirements supporting the use of the Microsoft Dynamics SL & GP Platform

·         Manage and lead developer resources in the design, development and implementation of customized client solutions

·         Understand client training needs; train users on new business processes utilizing Microsoft Dynamics SL & GP and supporting products

Requirements:

The primary requirements for the position of the Project Manager are:

·         3+ years hands on experience in the design and implementation of complex ERP solutions, (Microsoft Dynamics SL and/or GP a plus)

·         ERP Project Management experience

·         Functional business operations experience in one or more of the following areas: Finance, Accounting, Logistics, Inventory Management, Purchasing, or other key business activity areas

·         Experience with other ERP solutions (Oracle, SAP, JDE, Dynamics NAV, AX, CRM) a plus

·         Consulting organization experience preferred

·         Reporting tools: Crystal, FRx, Report Writer, SQL

·         4 year degree in Business, Accounting, MIS or equivalent

·         PMP Certification a plus

Compensation:

·         Competitive base salary + bonus program (total comp $80k - $125K DOE).
